Confidence is not something you develop overnight. Neither is it unattainable. We can become confident just by practicing ways to get confident and by following a positive attitude. We are all born with certain talents. Circumstances lead some of us to develop or hide these talents gradually as we grow older. We can blame this on *conditioning in our childhood. So, as a kid if you were told not to go near fire as it would burn your fingers, today cooking might not really be your strong point. But that does not mean you will never learn or develop the skill of becoming a great cook. So, begin by visualizing what you want to be and repeat it to yourself daily. It is only when you love yourself and believe it in your heart about what you want to achieve, nothing can stop you.Accept what you are completely, all your strengths and all your flaws. Can you describe ‘Perfect’? No one is perfect!. Just because someone is good at doing something you need not feel bad about it. You might be good at doing other things. Ignore the voices in your head that pull you down. Each one of us is born with certain strengths and weaknesses. To build confidence we need to stay focused on our positives and accept our weaknesses. It is only when we know what are our weaknesses, we can take the responsibility to learn and overcome them one at a time by setting **SMART goals. This is not enough. We also need to surround ourselves with people who will see the good in us and who believe in us. We need to smile more often and stay positive. We need to share our positivity by making others happy, complimenting them and helping them. We also need to constantly keep upgrading ourselves. Read books, research, join self-development programs that will build your personality and lift you up. Finally, Do you want to sit and brood on what you cannot do or spring up and find ways about what you can do! The choice is yours. *Conditioning – the process of training or accustoming a person to behave in a certain way or to accept certain circumstances.**SMART Goals – S.M.A.R.T acronym stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time-bound.
