You will find me mentioning ‘We are in age of Information and Knowledge’ a lot and there is a reason for it. Today I will start explaining it.There is abundance of Knowledge around. Books, audio books, DIY YouTube videos and the list goes on. What is lacking is Wisdom.Nature is not binary. Hence the term Organic evolution. Life, is not black and white. There are shades of grey and more.In postmodern world, that is after World War 2, all of us, no matter where you come from, are conditioned to think ‘Logically’. If it is not Yes, then it’s No. Sadly we lost the faculty of rational, which always weighted ‘maybe’.Time and again, people have pointed out to me that this is all Philosophical and axiomatic. In reality, it is not. Life is and should be lived as whole. Not compartmentalised, labelled and segregated. The binary, logical thought process has decayed us so badly that at times we are scared of simple things like joy and happiness.Systematic programming of subconscious has led us to become just responders. Action and Reaction. Somewhere in noise, we have lost our song.We are addicted to believing and living by the process of ‘thinking’.Thinking = analysing Memories.Memories = events of past.Hence thinking = living past = missing the present = jeopardising your future.“Think with your Mind and feel with your Heart”. Do not confuse the function of these two great faculties you have. So, the question would be, what does it mean in everyday life?Let’s start with basic.Q: What is the most important thing in your life?Never mind answering this. My answer is “I, Me, Myself”Q: Why?A: “You can’t give what you don’t have”To give money, you should have some. Similarly, to give happiness, you should be happy first. To help others, you should be secure first. The real meaning of “Charity begins at home” is not that you go hungry and feed others. It means you ensure you and your loved ones are not hungry so that you can help those who are. What I am sharing today is from my work in progress. Putting words to noises in my head. It might sound gibberish, then again, it might not. More of my ideas will be shared here, hopefully helping the community.Today’s advice:Get rid of system. Forget thinking outside of the box. Get rid of the box. Stop thinking. Feel it. There are so many things that have been prescribed in popular mainstream. Meditation, Yoga, Self-Introspection and many more fancy words. I don’t say all that is wrong. It’s selling old wine in a new bottle. Get the substance from this knowledge. Trust your instinct. Listen more, speak less. Trust me, it’s simpler than you think.I am going to quote two things here. Hope it helps in explaining what I have written today.“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?Actually, who are you not to be?You are a child of GOD.Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.We are all meant to shine, as children do.We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”-- Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles" (1992).Here is another one.Final exam for the class of Philosophy.Q: Prove that this chair does not exist.Batch of some 100 students, started willing out sheets of paper, putting down their logic, reasoning and presenting their arguments. Except one. This one student, wrote something, submitted answer sheet and walked out in 5 minutes. The rest were convinced that student is not graduating.Come result day.The one who walked out first, was the class topper. Why?Their answer: “What chair?”Think about it.This is HemantHemant Desai Presents ...
