Helen KellerI am sure many of you have read the above two, very inspiring quotes sometime, somewhere in some or the other form. ‘We are in age of Information and Knowledge’ and the two quotes are proof of that.My question to you is: What have you learnt from it?I am not talking about academic aspect here. Of all that your read or witness, those awe moments, how much do you implement? My observation is we all get excited when we read such things and believe me, those moments are exhilarating. However, at the same time, moments die out as quickly as they encouraged you. On the first instance of obstruction, you give up. Failures should bring you wisdom. In past, I spent tonnes of money, resources and time in doing all sorts of crazy things. My obsession was about learning. About knowledge. More study, more degrees and certificates, more diplomas and professional qualifications. To the point that I had become pompous arrogant know it all joker. It was when I changed my perspective on life that I realised that these academic achievements are a very tiny part on path of success. Importance shifted from Knowledge to wisdom. The day I accepted this; Universe presented an opportunity to make the transformation. A long period of almost 9-10 years, I was in a role where I could see the fears and flaws of everyday people.I realised how their own preconceived perspective about life had made them slaves of a never-ending vicious routine of failures and misfortunes. For every one of them had potential and the power and yet, all of them suffering and not happy.Check the video I have shared today with article.
