Now I have your attention. My main point proven. Before I continue, the title or the content here in this blog is not intentionally written to malign or disrespect any individual, their work or beliefs of people. This is my observation and my thoughts on the matter of the world as I see it now.I can bet most of you have read books, attended workshops/seminars, webinars, one on one coaching and what have you for a generic subject like ‘to be a millionaire’. Mostly packaged with different fancy names. Most popular ones being ‘How to be a Millionaire in x days’ or ‘Be a millionaire in y steps’ … with all sorts of ‘proven’ techniques and methods that the creator swears by.We get carried away by words like world famous, bestselling author, International celebrity … and that secret desire to find that magic spell which will turn you into a millionaire keeps their business running. Many of them do become millionaire and you have contributed to it. Our ‘Mediocre Middle Class Mindset’ is always believing in mystical powers of Snake Oil.Postmodern world, we have become too subjective. Things are distinctly categorised and separated. Whereas in reality, it’s all one. You are one. You are unique and those believe, when GOD made us in his exact image, we have the same infinite power to manifest what we truly want in our lives. Sadly our problem is that we don’t believe in ourselves.Find what is common in the following statements:
- I want to make My wife happy
- I want to give a good life to My family
- I want to be successful
- I want to be a good person
- I want to be wealthy
… do you see? What is common above?Yes, YOU my friends. You are the centre of your existence. You are the one around which your world is created. Hence you are responsible for where you are and you and only you can take the action to be where you want to be. No one else can help you do that. Remember it’s your journey. You may read tonnes of books and listen to hours of lectures and deliberate days on and all that will be useless unless YOU take action. The books and the secrets people share are the stories of their journey and they are right. However, you must remember, it was their journey. YOU must chart your course and decide your journey. You might get ideas but never duplicate them. Learning is like imbibing things and making them your nature. Sadly, what I see, people simply copying the visuals and physical aspects and not getting the core essence of whatever, they have read.Make a note of this:
Even if you win, you are still a rat.
Yes, it’s a rat race and I fail to understand why people participate.Through my series of ‘
The I Factor Theory’ … for years I have tried to awaken people to start looking inwards not outwards. You are the beginning and you are the one who can change your life. No one else can do that for you.Recalibrate your orientation 180 degrees. Start looking in the direction you are walking. At the moment, it’s possible you are walking with your back to the direction you are going into and every time you trip, your sight was on the past. When rise up from the fall, you will blame your past for your current failure instead of realising that you could have avoided the stumble, provided you were walking when looking in the direction you are going. That is, in simple English, is called being focused.Today’s exercise. When you think, you use the language you are most comfortable. Whichever that be. I prescribe Holographic thinking, which I might write about some other time. For the time being, when you are thinking in any language, do this. Avoid the word ‘if and but’ or whatever is equivalent.Sound easy? Nope. Right now, the word ‘but’ cropped up in your mind.Tell me how long you are able to stay away from the above words. This is HemantFromHemant Desai Presents.
