To a great extent I believe that majority of them are talented and very highly talented, yet very few people are able to reach the pinnacle of success! Sometimes I wonder why? But the answer to me is now quite clear. Success is not just about hitting sixes and fours as in cricket, It is more about understanding the situation and playing according to the situation with integrity. There are also other very important qualities such as consistency, adaptability, flexibility and above all the right attitude! These words may look a little complicated but are easily achievable once you are committed to practice them. All you need is a very simple understanding of your own emotions such as anger, sadness, frustration, happy, exited etc. This may look a little difficult at the beginning but can be achieved easily if you start observing your self, your actions, which develops self awareness in us, which in turn will increase empathy which means the 'respectful understanding of how the other person feels' and this quality is very essential in developing your interpersonal skill i.e. relating to others, which is the key for your own growth and your organisation.Your EQ which is nothing but 'emotional intelligence' which means your ability to understand your emotions as well as that of others will improve by practicing this simple technique of simply observing yourself. Observing yourself does not mean leaving all your work and simply sitting idle! It just means that you become aware of whatever actions you are performing. For some, this practice may be difficult at the beginning, even to learn swimming or cycling it is difficult initially, but once we get a hold of it, it becomes a natural process.Do not blame yourself or anyone for the lack of success inspite of being talented and hard working, just try this simple method and be humble!
